The purpose of this blog is to outline the details of the 2012 Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation - with a focus on Glasgow, but also covering other areas in Scotland. The blog has three intentions, to
- house the latest analysis I am doing of the SIMD;
- reach a broad audience;
- initiate a discussion on the results.
Although I am an employee of Glasgow City Council, the views outlined in the blog do not necessarily represent the views of the Council.
